Caroline Bosher

Co-Founder and Chief Experience Officer (CXO)

Caroline is Lead Design Mentor at Google Launchpad London and her background includes User Experience (UX) research and design, product management, Design Thinking, and multi-media production. Caroline's obsession with designing exceptional customer experiences began during her 5* Hotel Management Business degree from Cornell University's affiliated campus in Australia. Her eyes light up when presented with Post-it notes and a whiteboard.

JennY Barrow

Inclusion and Diversity Expert, Speaker, Mentor, Researcher and Consultant

Jenny Barrow has been working in the field of Inclusion & Diversity for over 15 years, including for the last 4 years as the age expert in residence for Renegade Generation. Throughout her career, she has worked with senior leaders, managers and teams to equip them to build inclusive cultures, ultimately leading to improved organisational performance.

Jenny’s strengths lie in senior stakeholder management, working with executives to build inclusion into their leadership and operational cultures. She is a highly experienced leader in designing and delivering equality, diversity & inclusion strategies with an action-oriented, outcomes focused approach.

Jenny’s clients include a wide range of financial services, insurance and media firms as well as public sector, academia and not-for-profit organisations.

Louise Griffin

Group HR Director, Steelite International

Louise is an accomplished HR professional with 19 years’ experience in the field, of which 14 have been in management roles. With a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and a Chartered Member of the CIPD, she has worked for both the service and manufacturing industries having held positions with FedEx UK Express and KPMG before joining Steelite International.

Steelite International is a world-leading manufacturer of award-winning tabletop solutions for the hospitality industry, servicing over 140 countries. As Group HR Director, Louise is responsible for all people-based activity within the business from both an operational and strategic perspective.

Louise was a speaker at the DWP Economic Growth Conference in 2014 which focused on the UK ageing population and associated economic impact. Following this she was invited to join the Fuller Working Lives Task Force which produced the A New Vision For Older Workers: Retain, Retrain, Recruit report.

Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Louise is also the Chair of the British Ceramic Confederation’s Employment Policy Committee.

Consultant, author, speaker, presenter, advisor, non-executive director, chairman

Barrie is a psychologist specialising in career development, lifelong learning and Lifeskills education. Barrie has recently designed an online retirement programme, co-authored an online learning programme for over 50s for learndirect and has written 39 books. He's currently consulting on the Transitions in Later Life project for the Gulbenkian Foundation and plans to run a marathon to celebrate his 75th birthday.

Simon North

Executive coach, mid-career transition expert, mentor, speaker, writer, ex HR Director

After starting in personnel and industrial relations, Simon moved into consulting and operational leadership roles including International HR Director, Managing Director and later took on Chairing and Non-Executive Director roles. Simon is an alumnus of Rolls-Royce, Shell International, PwC, KPMG and IBM. He holds a degree in Sociology and Politics from Exeter University, is a Fellow of the CIPD and was credentialed by the International Coach Federation in 2007. Simon is a regular speaker at some of the UK’s top business schools including Ashridge, Henley, Warwick and Durham. He shares his wealth of skills and experience with Renegade Generation to support mid and late career professionals through times of change.

 

Stuart hillston

Mentor, Coach & Counsellor to Start-up & Scale-up Entrepreneurs

Stuart is an experienced board advisor, speaker, author, mentor and technology consultant for entrepreneurial startups and high growth businesses. He's mentored in a variety of accelerators and incubators, teaches at eight major universities and is non-executive director for 30 companies. Stuart was listed in the top 25 for 2017 Smith & Williamson Power 100 and in the 2016 Maserati 100. He also runs his own nano-brewery.

Fiona Thompson

Freelance copywriter, D&AD Awards 'Writing for Design' Jury President, founder of Wordspring Ltd

Fiona provides copywriting and marketing support for Renegade Generation. She started with a degree in French, worked in fashion and textile publishing as a writer and editor, had a stint in business psychology, then became a freelance journalist and wrote regular features for The Times, The Guardian and Esquire magazine. Fiona speaks fluent French and Italian and plays the harp in her spare time with various London orchestras.

 

JACKIE MARSHALL-CYRUS

Director of Jackie Marshall-Cyrus & Associates

Former Lead Specialist, Health and Lifesciences Sector at Innovate UK, Jackie was the driving force behind Innovate UK’s Long Term Care Revolution. She challenges convention with innovative thinking in the areas of ageing, innovation, design, and inclusion. She originally trained as a nurse before becoming a lecturer, working at InnovateUK and now running her own business.

JUDY RICH

Retirement Coach, founder of Long Tall Sally

Experienced businesswoman, entrepreneur, and coach specialising in retirement transitions. Judy became a certified coach after selling her business - it seemed a brilliant way of putting her experience as a businesswoman and entrepreneur to use – as well as the life lessons she'd picked up along the way. One of her personal dreams is that all ‘retirees’ are given three months of coaching instead of a gold watch. [Update] Judy has now made the decision to retire from coaching to concentrate on her legacy writing.

Taylor Wescoatt

Taylor studied Design and Business (which included an MBA at INSEAD) before immersing himself in the world of Product Management. He founded startups in the US in the late 90s (CitySearch, idealab, LiquidWit) and has developed products for large brands including Aol, eBay, Seatwave, Netscape, Time Out and eMoov. He now passes on his valuable user experience and product knowledge as an Expert in Residence in Seedcamp (a First Round Fund) and has recently joined Concrete VC to find and grow the best Property Tech entrepreneurs.
